Our annual event β€œLifting for Love” is our primary fundraising mechanism. Proceeds from registration, swag, sponsors, etc. are donated to the families we support.

Unite for family

Lifting for Love is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We provide a fundraising avenue for families looking to add to their family through adoption. Whether its donations, sponsorships or our competition, we donate on behalf of our families to their adoption agency of choice, to help bridge the financial burden that adoption brings. Family is our core.

β€œLifting for Love is more than a competition its truly a cause. It was wonderful to see so many support this event and in support of adoption. The event allowed us to see high level athletes from all over come together and compete, all while raising funds for adoption.

Divisions

  • This division is for parents who want to do a workout with their kid. This will been an open style event, where athletes may scale movements as needed.

  • This division is for the athlete who may only have a few years of CrossFit experience and often times needs to scale movements. Athletes in this division can expect to see a scaled version of workouts. There are no age restrictions for this division.

    Deadlift 165/115

    DB Movements 35/20

    Gymnastics & Skills: Single Unders, Knee Raises, Box Step-ups

  • This division is for athletes with only a few holes in their game.

    Clean 155/105

    Deadlift 225/155

    DB Movements 45/25

    Gymnastics & Skills: DUs, T2B, Pull-Up

  • Athletes in this division are expected to have performed previous CrossFit Open workouts as prescribed with no scales or modifications. Athletes in this division must be 45 years of age or older as of 9/1/2024

    Snatch 115/80

    Clean 155/105

    Deadlift 225/155

    DB Movements 35/20

    Gymnastics & Skills: Single Unders, T2B, Pull-Up, Rope Climbs

  • This division is for top athletes. Athletes in this division are expected to have performed previous CrossFit Open workouts as prescribed with no scales or modifications and should be amongst the firebreathers in their gym.

    Expected Working Weights:

    Snatch 135/95

    Clean 185/125

    Deadlift 275/185

    DB Movements 50/35

    Gymnastics & Skills: DUs, T2B, C2B, Rope Climbs, HSPU, Muscle Up, HS Walk (at least 1 per pair)

  • This division is athletes who have aspirations of competing, or who have competed, at or above a semi-finals level.

    Expected Working Weights:

    Snatch 155/105

    Clean 225/145

    Deadlift 315/225

    DB Movements 70/50

    Gymnastics & Skills: DUs, T2B, C2B, Legless Rope Climbs, HSPU, Ring Muscle Up, HS Walk, Pistols

  • Athletes in this division are between 7-14, and are beginner athletes, or new (ish) to CrossFit. Athletes will be shown and guided through movements by the judges.

  • This division is for the athlete with a few holes in their game such as gymnastics capacity or top-end strength.
