Our journey began in 2020 with a small community competition aimed at generating funds for our founders own adoption. After the success of that event we knew had addressed a critical need in space — and had tapped into something special— a fusion of fitness and philanthropy. Lifting for Love was born from the belief that every drop of sweat, every lift, could make a difference in the lives of those striving to create families.

Chelsea's personal connection to adoption runs deep. Born into a family with a strong legacy of adoption, her own mother, aunt, and cousins were all embraced through this beautiful process. Chelsea spent her formative years with her grandparents, true champions of youth in the community. Her grandfather's work in running a group home and creating outdoor programs for at-risk youth, coupled with her grandmother's role as an outreach coordinator, left an indelible mark on Chelsea.

Growing up surrounded by the foster community, Chelsea developed bonds with children who became like family. From a young age, the concept of adoption resonated strongly with her. This passion only intensified after the overwhelming support for her initial fundraising event.

Motivated by love and a genuine desire to make a difference, Chelsea realized the importance of extending this support to others navigating the significant challenge of raising funds for adoption. For her, this endeavor has become more than just a charitable cause—it's a labor of love.

Over the past four years, we’ve transformed to a multi-program non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families on their unique adoption journeys. Our commitment to this cause has fueled our growth, doubling our size and propelling us to continually expand our reach through various competitions and fundraising avenues.

As we grow, our dedication to fulfilling the fundraising needs to our community and more specifically the adoption community remains unwavering.
